Panoramas are a form of wide angle photography useful for documenting large scale patterns in ecosystems such as: species composition, architecture, and the environment. As an ecologist, I am intrigued by the biological and environmental processes shaping these patterns. In this section, I attempt to blend various forms of panorama and traditional 35mm photography to tell stories about ecology. I hope that viewers will consider the variability and complexity of the ecosystems.
Some panoramas are provided in QuickTime Virtual Reality format (QTVR)(*.mov files). Since these are actually movie files (*.mov format), they require QuickTime a free video player to view and interact.
